You mentioned caregiving during the pandemic. That must have been exhausting during a time when most of us were already tapped out due to global events. I can't even imagine. 3.5 years is a long time under those conditions.

I'm with you on the "tell the truth" mantra. I have some of that myself but some of those balls of yarn are so big and tight that it's taking me a bit of time to try to separate out the strands so I can even see what I've got. Most of that is on me. I'm still working through trying to self-regulated some of my issues. I don't like writing about things that I'm not too clear on myself because I don't want to seed even more confusion in myself or others.

How have these times shaped you?
Since I stopped watching nighty news decades before you in the 1970s, I RARELY watch newscasts.
These times? If I jump on to see what's up, my staying time is non-existent.
What changes have you noticed in yourself in these last many years?
I was exhausted after caregiving 24/7 for my mother for 3.5 years during the pandemic.
Recovering takes longer than expected, like finding your words.
